Sandesh Bhat(VU22DX) — HAM Operator, DXer
Using the 1kW rated GDT lightning surge protector for coaxial lines from Tejtronics in my ham radio setup and it has been performing very well.
The unit feels properly built with solid connectors and good mechanical quality. Installation was straightforward and it integrates cleanly into the coax line. I did not notice any increase in SWR or signal loss on HF after installation.
Running multiple outdoor antennas in Goa means dealing with heavy lightning activity and static buildup during monsoon season. This GDT protector adds an important protection layer for radios, SDRs, antenna switches, and other station equipment.
Things I liked:
* 1kW rated, suitable for higher power HF operation
* Good quality enclosure and connectors
* No noticeable RF degradation
* Compact and easy to install inline
* Works well as part of a grounded station protection system
* Good value for the price
Most important part is proper grounding. Even the best GDT protector will not perform correctly without a low impedance earth connection.
Overall, a reliable and practical addition for any outdoor antenna installation. Especially useful for stations operating in lightning prone coastal areas

Suresh Babu (VU22SB) — Amateur Radio Operator
I am VU22SB - Suresh from Chennai, mostly work on 40 Meter Band. I am using Inverted V Antenna supplied by Tejtronics. This review is not just about the product supplied by the Tejtronics, but time taken, information gathered and recommending the appropriate Antenna by Mr. Jegan-VU3JYU. As would be seen in the photos, my terrace is filled with iron rods fabricated for a different purpose, that were supposed to produce huge interference with any antenna. Mr. Jegan, after studying and reviewing the information I had supplied, without wasting time suggested to go for the Inverted V Antenna.
Although the antenna needs more fine tuning, I have for the first time started enjoying working on 40 Meter band. Previously only few stations used to copy me clearly, but with the Inverted V recommended by Mr. Jegan, many stations are copyig me well and, I am able to copy them with substantial improvement.
Its note worthy to mention, I enjoy the guidance provided by Mr. Jegan in a simple, lay man's language, without involving any technical jargons, that helped me immensly to set up the antenna entirely on my own. My best wishes to him and to his Tejtronics.

Captain Vikram Sinhji Rana(VU33VS) — Flight Operations, Airbus Fleet, Amateur Radio Operator
The same evening a few hours after ordering I got a call from Tejtronics confirming my order and availivility to recieve the same the very next day. I ordered two lightning arresters which were sent to me. The shipping was free of charge. As i am a novice i even called Mr. Jegan for installation advice he spent a good 10 minutes explaining me how to do so. This adds a personal touch and shows me that Mr Jegan is truly passionate about his products.
Installatioin was simple just the right size allen-key is required in my case. I set up the entire thing for both my antennas wiithin an hour this included wiring and mast down time. The product itself looks like a work of art and honestly i feel bad for it having to be outdoors. That is how good it looks. I have Added some Pictures of the product with my cables connected and it also on the mast top and for the other antenna at the mast bottom.
All in all a wonderdful experience. The same company has many other innovative make in india things that otherwise would cost an arm and a leg if bought and shipped internatioinally with equally good quality.

Venu Sethumadhavan Nair(VU3WVN) — Vice President/SM Solution Innovation Costing Architecture APAC Lead/Amateur Radio Operator
I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Tejtronics getting my 2m and 70cm 9-element Yagi antenna installed at home, and honestly, I didn’t expect it to turn into such a memorable experience!
A huge shoutout to Jegan, the CEO himself, who didn’t just “oversee” things from a distance, but quite literally rolled up his sleeves, climbed the ladder, and got hands-on with every single detail. I mean, how often do you see a CEO doing antenna alignment like it’s a personal mission? 😄
His passion for what he does is genuinely infectious. He went through every element meticulously, double-checking alignment, fine-tuning the frequency calibration to make sure there was zero loss. At one point, I felt like the antenna was getting a VIP treatment!
The results speak for themselves....I’m now able to hit all possible repeaters in town using just my low-powered handy. Can’t wait to fire up the base station next week and take things up a notch!
Big thanks to Team Tejtronics....you guys are clearly not just in the business, you’re in love with it. At this rate, “scientific greatness” doesn’t feel like a stretch at all!
